Vivienne Leather Boots - Black

Mine arrived looking lovely. I checked the finish straight away because that is usually the first thing I notice, and my first impression was really good.

Needed something to wear with my wide-leg trousers and these were exactly the look I had in mind. Such a simple outfit, but the shoes made it feel finished.

The moment I took them out of the box I texted my sister a photo. No occasion planned yet, I just really wanted to show her.

Honestly, the finish was the first thing that caught my eye. I kept turning them around in the light before I even tried them on.

The parcel arrived in lovely condition and opening it felt like a little treat. A very nice end to an otherwise boring Tuesday.

I had a pair sitting in my wardrobe that never felt quite right. Tried these with the same outfits and finally got the look I was after.

I wanted a smarter pair for work lunches, nothing too fussy. With tailored trousers and a shirt, these looked just right.

My order arrived and I went straight upstairs to try them with my favourite dress. Didn't even take my coat off properly first.

Bought them as a birthday present to myself. The birthday is still a couple of weeks away, but there was no chance I was leaving them in the box.

I was worried they might look different from what I had pictured. Opening the parcel was a very happy surprise.

They gave my plain black trousers a completely different feel. I love finding something new that works with clothes I already own.

The shoes arrived neatly presented and I was pleased with how they looked up close. First impressions definitely counted here.

Not even going to pretend I needed another pair. I liked the look of these, ordered them, and smiled as soon as I opened the box.

Wore them for our anniversary dinner with a dress I have had for years. Somehow the whole outfit felt new again.

These arrived while I was working from home. My lunch break turned into a very unofficial fashion show in the bedroom.

I wanted heels that would look good with a blazer without making the outfit feel too formal. These worked beautifully for that.

My best friend helped me choose between two outfits and said the shoes had to stay either way. That made the decision much easier.

I bought these with a wedding outfit in mind, but I actually like them even more with my everyday trousers. Happy to have more than one reason to wear them.

I don't normally get excited about deliveries, but I had been looking forward to this one. Opened it straight away and wasn't disappointed by the look.

Such a lovely shape. I tried them on with cropped trousers and spent far too long checking the mirror from every angle.

I went back and forth over buying them for days. Now that I have seen them in person, I wish I had made up my mind sooner.

They arrived looking just as smart as I had hoped. I put them beside the outfit I had planned and it all finally made sense.

I was after a pair that felt special without needing a huge event to justify them. These are lovely for a nice lunch and a proper outfit.

Honestly, I just stood there admiring them when I opened the box. The finish looked gorgeous to me.

I tried them with a midi skirt on a whim and liked the result more than the outfit I bought them for. A very welcome surprise.

The delivery was the highlight of my afternoon. Nothing dramatic, just a lovely pair of shoes and a good excuse to stop answering emails for five minutes.

Ordered them for a friend's birthday dinner. I had the dress sorted already, and these were the missing part of the outfit.

The quality looked really lovely when I unpacked them. I always have a proper look at new shoes before trying them on, and I liked what I saw.

Mine arrived nicely presented. I had bought them for myself, but opening them still felt a bit like receiving a present.

I kept my outfit very simple so the shoes could have their moment. White shirt, dark trousers, and these. That was enough for me.

My daughter said these were much nicer than the pair I originally wanted. For once, we agreed on a fashion decision immediately.

I had an important presentation and wanted to feel more dressed up than usual. Loved how these looked with my suit.

A little treat after a long month. I opened the parcel, tried them on, and had one of those silly happy moments in front of the mirror.

The box arrived in good shape and the shoes looked lovely inside. It is nice when the whole first impression feels considered.

Really pleased with the way they look with straight-leg jeans. I don't always want a dress when I wear heels.

I noticed the detailing before anything else. Up close, there was plenty to appreciate without the shoes feeling overdone.

I wanted a pair for the smarter side of my wardrobe. They look lovely with the trousers I usually struggle to style.

Such a nice thing to unwrap. I ordered on a quiet evening and somehow forgot how excited I was until the parcel arrived.

I love a shoe that makes a very ordinary outfit feel intentional. These with a plain knit and tailored trousers were my favourite combination.

The first thing I said was, oh, these are lovely. Sometimes that is the whole review, really.

I was impressed by how nice the finish looked straight out of the box. They made a much better first impression than I had dared to hope.

I had a jacket that always felt too dressy for my usual shoes. These finally made that outfit work for me.

I wasn't shopping for a particular occasion. I just wanted one lovely pair that made me want to put a proper outfit on.

Tried these with an all-black outfit and immediately knew how I would wear them first. No complicated styling needed.

Really lovely to look at in person. I have left them out beside my wardrobe because I keep planning outfits around them.

These arrived on a day when absolutely everything else was annoying me. Trying on pretty shoes turned out to be a very good distraction.

The shape looked gorgeous with the hem of my trousers. I know that is oddly specific, but it was exactly what I had been trying to find.

Opened the box with my mum and we both had the same reaction. A very enthusiastic, oh, those are nice.

I have a habit of ordering things and then feeling unsure when they arrive. With these, my first reaction was just excitement.

They looked lovely against my favourite cream trousers. I had been searching for the right finishing touch for that outfit for ages.

I like that I can imagine these with a simple dress as well as a much smarter outfit. That was what I wanted when I ordered.

Wore them to a small birthday meal, nothing particularly glamorous. Still felt nice to make a bit of an effort for myself.

I bought these to replace a pair I had stopped enjoying. It feels good to open the wardrobe and actually look forward to choosing shoes again.

These made my oldest little black dress feel worth wearing again. I was close to buying a whole new outfit, so that was a nice discovery.

I wanted something elegant for a lunch booking with friends. These gave me exactly the look I had pictured.

The detail is what I keep coming back to. I liked the overall design online, but the close-up look in person was even nicer.

My usual outfits are quite simple. These added enough interest that I didn't feel the need to pile on jewellery as well.

I had no big plans when these arrived, so I just tried them with half my wardrobe. A surprisingly enjoyable way to spend an evening.

I chose these for a theatre evening and loved them with my long coat. The outfit looked exactly as I had imagined it.

I was looking for a pair that felt like me, rather than something I would only wear because an occasion called for it. These got that feeling right.

My first reaction was that the shoes looked beautifully finished. I actually took a closer look because I hadn't expected to like the details so much.

I had been wearing the same safe outfits for months. These gave me the little push I needed to try something different.

Bought them for my sister's engagement dinner. She asked about the shoes before we even sat down, which made me laugh.

The order arrived in lovely condition. I put the shoes on the bed beside my planned outfit and sent a photo to my best friend straight away.

I love how they look with ankle-length trousers. Finally, a reason to wear the pair I have been ignoring at the back of the wardrobe.

These were a completely selfish purchase and I am very happy about that. Just something pretty that I wanted for myself.

I wasn't sure how I would style them at first. Tried a plain dress and realised I had been overthinking the whole thing.

There was a proper wow moment when I lifted the lid. The shoes looked much lovelier in my bedroom than they had on my tiny phone screen.

I wanted a smarter option for days when I have lunch meetings. Really liked the way these looked with my usual work trousers.

The finish caught the light beautifully when I unpacked them. I ended up taking photos before I had even tried them on.

Bought these ahead of a dinner reservation and planned the whole outfit around them. Getting ready was half the fun.

My mum said they looked like a very me purchase. She was right; they fit the way I like to dress perfectly.

I was pleased with how neatly everything arrived. Unpacking an order is nicer when you can tell the presentation has been thought about.

These made a simple jumper and skirt combination look so much more polished. That is probably how I will wear them most often.

I had them sitting in my basket for ages. Finally ordered, opened the box, and wondered why I had spent so long debating it.

I don't dress up every weekend, but I like having shoes that make me want to. These definitely have that effect on me.

The shoes looked lovely when they arrived, especially from the side. I am quite particular about proportions and these really appealed to me.

Tried them on before a video call with my sister and ended up showing her instead of discussing what we had actually called about.

I bought these for a civil ceremony outfit. I wanted the whole look to be simple but still feel like a special day, and these fitted it beautifully.

The nicest part was realising I already had several things to wear with them. No need to start from scratch with a whole outfit.

My delivery arrived and I knew immediately which trousers I wanted to try them with. It is rare that an outfit idea works as well in the mirror as in my head.

I really liked the quality of the finish on first inspection. These gave me a lovely impression before I even thought about styling them.

Bought them for a dinner, but my favourite look so far is actually with jeans and an oversized shirt. Much more my everyday style.

I was having one of those weeks where nothing in my wardrobe appealed. These helped me see a few of my old outfits differently.

Opened the parcel after the school run and had a little try-on session while the house was quiet. A very nice five minutes just for me.

They looked so good with my favourite blazer. I had been missing a shoe that made that outfit feel complete.

My friend asked for a photo as soon as she knew they had arrived. Sent about six because I couldn't decide which angle looked nicest.

I wanted something lovely for my birthday without buying another dress. Changing the shoes turned out to be all the outfit needed.

The presentation was really nice when I opened my order. Even though I knew exactly what was inside, it still felt exciting.

These are the sort of shoes that make me tidy the rest of my outfit a little. Suddenly I wanted the good trousers and the proper bag too.

I took them out of the box and immediately put them next to the dress for my cousin's wedding. Such a relief to like the combination straight away.

The overall look is gorgeous. I keep noticing another small detail every time I pick them up.

I had been trying to find a pair for a particular pair of trousers, which sounds ridiculous until you have the same problem. These were the answer for me.

My order turned up while my friend was visiting, so the unboxing became a joint activity. We both loved the look of them.

I like getting dressed up for a nice Sunday lunch. These are exactly the sort of finishing touch I enjoy choosing.

Really pleased when I saw them in person. Sometimes the excitement disappears once an order arrives, but these kept it going.

I put them with a plain midi dress and barely needed to think about the rest. That is my favourite kind of outfit.

The first thing I noticed was how lovely the finish looked. Then I noticed I had been standing in the hallway admiring shoes instead of putting the shopping away.

Bought them for no better reason than loving the design. They look lovely on my shoe shelf, and even lovelier with an actual outfit.

I wanted to feel a bit more polished for a reunion lunch. These worked so nicely with the trousers and jacket I had chosen.

My sister said I should stop saving every nice thing for a big occasion. These are my first step towards listening to her.

The parcel arrived looking great and the shoes made a lovely first impression. I was genuinely excited to find a reason to wear them.

Tried them with a satin skirt I had almost given away. I am very glad that skirt is still in my wardrobe now.

I bought these before a city break and had more fun planning the evening outfits than the sightseeing. The shoes started that whole process.

They looked really elegant straight out of the box. I sent my partner a picture with absolutely no explanation because the shoes were the whole message.

I wanted a change from always wearing the same shoes to dinner. These made an outfit I wear often feel different again.

The details looked lovely up close. I am usually the one finding something to be picky about, so it was nice to just enjoy opening an order.

I tried these with both a dress and a trouser suit. Couldn't choose a favourite, which is a much nicer problem to have than nothing working.

Arrived on a quiet afternoon and immediately improved it. Sometimes a little parcel of something you have chosen just for yourself is enough.

I had a work event coming up and wanted my outfit to feel a bit less predictable. Loved the way these changed the look of my usual suit.

My best friend said they looked even nicer in my photo than in the link I had sent her. I had to agree once I saw them properly.

These were meant to be an occasion purchase, but I keep imagining them with more casual clothes. Particularly my favourite jeans and a soft knit.

Lovely presentation when the order arrived. I took my time opening everything instead of doing my usual rushed unpacking in the hallway.

I had been looking for something that made me feel excited about dressing up again. Trying these on with a favourite outfit did just that.

The shoes looked beautiful when I unpacked them. I liked the shape so much that I immediately tried them with three different hem lengths.

Bought them for a small celebration at a restaurant. Nothing over the top, just an outfit that made me feel like myself on a good day.

I ordered these after a wardrobe clear-out and was a bit nervous about buying anything new. Seeing how well they worked with what I kept was lovely.

My parcel arrived and I actually waited until I had a quiet moment to open it properly. Very glad I did; the shoes deserved a little attention.

I love that first moment when you try something on and already know how you want to wear it. These gave me that straight away.

Oh, these are gorgeous. I had been hoping for a lovely pair of shoes, but I hadn't expected to be planning my next outfit before the box was even put away.
